All these reviews are correct! It was an amazing place, the hosts and staff are wonderful, Mabel is definitely a highlight so book her! It was a trip we will never forget. Love!!!!

Sunny Stafford,

This apartment is not far from perfect for a vacation in Cuba. The location is very convenient with a quick taxi ride (or walk) to all the main attraction in the area. The hosts were very warm and friendly and always available to help and answer questions. Apartment is well suited for large parties with beautiful private bedrooms followed by incredibly clean and stylish bathrooms. Hosts and manager were very flexible with letting us stay in the apartment after check-out while we waited for our taxi to pick us up which was an added plus. Overall, staying in this beautiful, clean and spacy apartment exceeded our expectations!! Thank you Kendra and staff for making our trip to Cuba unforgettable!!

Natalia Caucayo,

Mabel was wonderful! So warm and welcoming, she made the start of each morning special. Manuel was a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful and communication was great. He was immediately available if we ever needed anything. The extras that you provided like the mobile phone was extremely helpful. We are looking forward to our next trip to Cuba and for sure will be staying in this beautiful apartment.

Archie,

First trip to Cuba and first Airbnb experience for myself and a group of friends. It was a very last minute trip that we put together on the fly, and we were curious as to how it would work out. First, Kendra's place is every bit as amazing as it looks online - actually even more amazing in person. Everything is thought of and included from great towels and toiletries, to mini-bar goodies in the fridge, and a local cell phone with helpful numbers and a map with recommended restaurants and other places. It is spacious, modern and well decorated. Secondly, Kendra is very responsive to communication and I often received responses within minutes. Third, the staff are very attentive, professional and helpful. Our Spanish skills ranged from fluent to meh, but none of us ever experienced communication problems in either language with Manuel or Mabel. Located in Central Havana, it's in a building built in 1926, there is a lot of rustic charm. The streets are busy with foot traffic and we were curious as to how it would go, but quickly we agreed that we all felt incredibly safe and welcome the entire time. Plus it was great to hang out on the balcony at any time and watch our neighbors go about their lives. Being away from the touristy area, but close enough to get there easily, was one of the unexpected benefits of staying here. Cuba is a unique travel experience and the location of Kendra's place was the ideal location to take in Cuban life and mingle with everyday people. The check in process was perfect. Our pre-arranged driver was waiting for us as we exited customs, and Manuel was ready for us at the building on our arrival. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining everything we needed to know during our stay. Check-out was just as easy and smooth as check-in. We were in complete agreement that using the optional breakfast service was the smartest decision we made. Mabel arrives and prepares an incredible meal at the agreed upon time, and we enjoyed talking to her as much as we enjoyed the food. The apartment is within a few blocks of most of the attractions in Central Havana so walking was easy. To visit places farther away in the city, we could hail a taxi within moments by walking a block away to a major street.

Michael,

We had a great stay at Kendra’s place. The apartment was modern and recently remodeled as depicted. There were three bedrooms and three bathrooms which was more than enough space for the three of us. We decided to splurge a little for the comfort. Kendra gave a lot of tips and is able to arrange tours / transportation if you need it. Manuel, the manager was really helpful also. He patiently waited for us when we were late for our check-in. Havana was an amazing city to explore and visit, we would definitely base ourselves here again!

Judy,

A truly beautiful, newly renovated home in a great location! Three pristinely clean bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathrooms, each so wonderfully appointed. Kendra and her team are more knowledgeable and helpful with understanding Havana and can make arrangements for any experience or attraction you might be interested in.

Jeff Davis,

Great place. Good attention to detail (Bags with beach towels in each room and stocked fridge). The "staff" was really great and accommodating. We did the walking tour of Old Havana with Daniel - he is great. The salsa lessons were fun too. Great place!

Jaime Davis,

Our family of four stayed at Casa Concordia II from March 3-10, 2018. Our itinerary in Havana was informed by the input of friends, one in particular, coupled with recommendations from our Airbnb hosts Kendra and Jonathan and flawlessly executed by their manager Manuel. We initially planned to visit Cuba via a travel company but then discovered Airbnb. The rest is history. Although our family is not currently Spanish speaking, we got along just fine with a little help from (Hidden by Airbnb) Translate and kind and patient locals. First, let me describe the apartment, Casa Concordia II, located in the heart of Havana. The building was constructed in the 1930s. The outside facade shows its age but come inside and see the stairwell and elevator every bit of 90 years but the tile work inside is so beautifully restored. Walk inside the apartment and you step into another world where the classic meets contemporary. The views from the balcony are colorful and lovely. The apartment is spacious with three well appointed bedrooms with ac and en suite modern bathrooms. Kendra and Jonathan not only designed a beautiful modern living space ( love the long hallway, cool light fixtures and original tile work) but also paid attention to functional details - luxurious linens, toiletries, hairdryer, beach towels, well stocked minibar with a full kitchen and a local Samsung cell phone for voice calling and messaging with loaded local contacts. Our favorite part of the morning each day was an incredible full breakfast feast (10 CUC/ person/ day) prepared by Mabel (Ma Belle) with eggs, croissant, coffee, fresh juices and local tropical fruits, complete with fun attempts at a daily Spanish lesson. I must say that Mabel was an essential part of our family’s Cuban experience. Casa Concordia is strategically located in centro Habana, allowing easy walking access to Habana Vieja (old Havana), the majestic Malecon seaside roadway and many wonderful restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance or a short ride by taxi. Although it is a bustling neighborhood, day and night, noise was not an issue for us. And we always felt safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our city and countryside tours with our driver Yoel and his 1954 turquoise and white Chevrolet Bel Air, a spectacular American classic car, meticulously maintained. Yoel was incredibly attentive, friendly and accommodating. His buddy Yoandry took us on a day trip to Viñales, a valley 2.5 hours by car. A wonderful journey - the highlights for us - Cohiba Robusto cigars in Pinar del Rio (5-6 CUC/per but no labels), horseback ride down into the valley + sugar cane/lemonade/rum sampling. Well worth it. But would definitely skip the Indian caves and prehistoric mural. Loved the art tour with Sussette. A well spoken art curator, she took us to four artists home/ workspaces -block print, sculptures, photography, iconography. We bought a piece of art but there was no pressure to buy anything. Another place well worth the trip is FAC, Fabrica de Arte Cubano, a multidimensional art space.

Shaival Kapadia,

What a great experience we had staying at Casa Concordia II! The apartment is an oasis just a few blocks from Old Havana, and short walk to great restaurants such as La Guarida and Casa Miglis. Fully renovated with modern amenities such as air conditioning, our trip was made even more perfect with the guidance of the English-speaking manager, Manuel, who helped us with transportation and suggestions for where to go. Its a gem of a place that will make your stay in Havana a real pleasure!

Eve,

Very stylish and very close to some exceptional restaurants. super cool area, would recommend.

Abigail Walker,

Beautiful apartment. It is located 5 minutes away (walking) from old Habana. I would recommend to ask for the complete breakfast. Mabel, the cook, is a wonderful person. Everything was perfect with the house and Mabel and Manuel. It was also very helpful that you helped us out with the reservation in FAC.
